Great food.....very busy.....slow food service. But definitely great food. Will go again.....just not during their busiest time.

This place is top-notch we tried it for the first time and loved it. It's a little pricey but that's normal for good pizza.

Great pizza. The Pizza Guy Special is my family's go to. Also the ribeye is fantastic. Try it Black and Bleu style.

Great Italian restaurant in small town New Berlin. We usually get pizza with anchovies or the calzones. But lots of other choices. Prices are good.

The sourdough crust pizza is my favorite pizza in the area. The wait time can be long at times but the staff is friendly and the food is worth the wait.

Oh it's the best!

Not the place to go with a large group. We had reservations at 6pm. Ordered food at 6:20. Pizza and calzones came out around 7pm but sandwiches, horseshoes, pasta and salads didn't show up till 7:30. Our server was doing her very best and went above and beyond and earned all three of my rating stars completely on her own. No manager ever checked on us. Very disappointing.

Gets better every year. Updating seating. Restrooms could use some improvement. Opening at 5 is a bit late for seniors. The thin crust pizza is very good due to the brick ovens. The Southwest egg roll used to be great but they have switched to milder version which is mostly rice. Cell signal is non existent so you can eat in peace.

Expensive, but we'll worth it. They use nothing but the best ingredients. That's why everything is absolutely delicious.

This place has been a little hidden gem, so do yourself a favor and go. It's been a while for us, but I've never had a bad meal or staff experience here. It's a bit if a drive for us, but so worth it. You won't leave hungry!

Calzones as big as your torso!

Looked forward to eating here because of the positive reviews, but we we're greatly disappointed. Stuffed mushrooms not fresh salty and crab like rubber. Ribeye steak full of grisel and fat, 75 percent inedible. Twice bake potatoes instant and cold. Hard rolls frozen butter. Nasty bathroom nats flying around. Terrible place to eat. Upside, the dogs loved the $50 bag of fat we brought home 🤢

Had the crab portobello mushroom fettuccine. Very rich and creamy. Lover it. Also tried the Pizza, spot on delicious ricotta and portobello and a very flavorful sauce.

We live in town, but don't frequent this place as often as I'd like. The prices are decent and the food is very tasty. The burgers are huge and the pizza is hard to beat. Sometimes it takes a long time to get your food, but fortunately, it is worth the wait.

This is a hidden gem of central Illinois. If you want unbelievable Italian food with fantastic portion sizes at a reasonable price, you must try Capones! Everything on the menu is delicious.

Good food & service

Food was excellent. Had the bang bang shrimp and ribs, the next table had plate envy. Service was spot on and the place was busy. We will be back.

Service was slow and the did not have everything on menu. When asked waitress said they had garlic bread but they only served rolls.

Loved it. Great Italian food the pizza and calzones are Beyond expectations. The wait staff is terrific prompt and courteous. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Delicious salad dressings, scallops Roberto the best I have had in a long time. 😋 We will go back for more. Eclectic furnishings and fun atmosphere.

Great steak house

If you want the original Bernie n Betty's pizza, this is where the owners landed! It's a hodgepodge of a place, gas station in front, Capone's Restaunt in the middle, last but not least, the Garden room Restraunt in the back! All located in a cornfield of a town! Absolutely everything is excellent. In the back of Capone's his son has a separate Restraunt, he calls The Garden. Need to make reservations much in advance but the food a remarkable work of an artistic mind... unbelievable really! The two Restraunts couldn't be more opposite! Worth the short drive from Springfield

I had the pork chops, and my wife had the chicken cattitore. Both meals came out hot and had large portion sizes. Everything was fresh and delicious. The prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend this place!

Details on the hours, on this site, are misleading. The restaurant isn't open until 5 pm. The attached STORE is open 8 am-8pm. Excellent food, excellent service.

Beautiful place in such an amazingly odd location. The only reason for the 4 vs. 5 stars is due to the inconsistency with our friends' dishes. Otherwise a delight and surprise.

Unexpected find! They were very busy and took a while to get our order but the food was delicious. Pizza, pasta, horseshoes, steaks. Enormous calzones. Will definitely go back.

We were at the tapas garden. Capones was closed. We had fried portabellas, a seafood and noodle dish and a pizza. The fried portabellas were good and the puzza was superb. The other dish was ok but I'm not a huge seafood fan. The black noodles in that dish were good. I cannot wait to go back for a pizza. One pizza would have been enough for 2. Maybe pizza and 1 other dish to share.

The BEST steaks... The BEST pizza & calzones... It's all fabulous.
